Sophrology can be used in many areas - to prepare exams or special events, lessen anxiety issues, address sleep problems etc.. - as well as a general tool for enhancing our wellbeing.

Virtually all ages can reap the benefits of Sophrology sessions from young children to more mature citizens of the world.


Sessions can be carried out in a variety of formats including one to one sessions, group sessions, seminars etc...  The settings can be equally varied such as my home for individual sessions, community or school halls, boardrooms, clients' premises or private homes.

Typically, a session lasts about one hour although they can be shorter if, for example, working with young children for whom 40 minutes are more appropriate.  

You will be working fully clothed and can wear your shoes or discard them as you choose.  Some exercises will be carried out standing when possible and other seated or lying down if the need arises.  The Sophrologist guides the exercises and there is an opportunity to communicate your feedback on the session at the end of the exercises.
